Vision Screening

Visual development is evaluated regularly during our check-ups starting right from infancy.

With the Plusoptix vision screener, we perform objective measurements at ages 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, and 11. From age two, age-appropriate tests such as stereo test charts, Lea symbols, tumbling E-charts, or color vision tests are added.

Clinical examination of the eyes is also part of the check-ups. Early signs of strabismus (squinting/misalignment) can thus be identified early and, if needed, further evaluated and treatment.
